Who We Are
SWEEP-Liberia (Spoken Word Education Empowerment Program) Academy & TVET is a non-profit Academic and Vocational Technical Institution dedicated to providing quality, affordable, and accessible education in Liberia.
Founded with a passion to transform young lives through education, faith, discipline, and practical skills development, our institution prepares students to excel academically, grow morally, and contribute meaningfully to society.
Established in August 2019, SWEEP-Liberia continues to grow as a center of excellence serving learners from Early Childhood through Senior High School, alongside Technical and Vocational training programs.
Our History
SWEEP-Liberia was birthed from a vision inspired by the leadership of Spoken Word Ministry (God Still Speaks) Inc., under the oversight of Rev. Saye Silas Pency.
The dream to establish a transformative educational institution began in 2009. In 2015, the institutional blueprint was completed, and construction commenced in 2018. Through dedication and commitment to empowering Liberian youth, the school officially opened in August 2019.
Since its establishment, SWEEP-Liberia has remained committed to academic excellence, godly integrity, and skill development.

Milestones That Define Us
SWEEP-Liberia Established
Rev. Saye Silas Pency founded SWEEP-Liberia (Spoken Word Education Empowerment Program) with a vision to transform education in Paynesville.
Workshops & Research
Launched educational workshops, symposiums, and research initiatives to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive institution.
Growing Community
Continued community outreach and educational programming, expanding our network of supporters and partners overseas.
Full Academic & TVET School
Opened as a full Academic and TVET school, enrolling students from Early Childhood Development (ECD) through Junior High.
Senior High Launched
Added the Senior High component, completing the K-12 academic track and providing a full pathway for student success.
Campus & Partnerships
Expanded campus facilities and established international partnerships with supporters in the USA, growing to 32+ teachers and staff.
Leading Academy
Now offering 7 TVET programs, a full academic track, and serving over 500 students — building future leaders for Liberia.

OUR DEPARTMENTS
Early Childhood
Daycare to Kindergarten 2
We provide a nurturing and stimulating foundation where young learners develop early literacy, numeracy, social, and emotional skills.
Elementary
Grades 1–6
We focus on strong academic foundations, character building, and interactive learning through both Lower and Upper Elementary stages.
Junior High
Grades 7–9
Students are prepared academically and morally for senior secondary education through structured curriculum and skill exposure.
Senior High
Grades 10–12
We prepare students for national examinations, higher education, and career pathways through academic excellence and leadership development.
